Description
Small RC gliders under 1.2-meters require lightweight and powerful powertrains not to add weight, but to provide enough thrust to pull 150-200g of a model up in the air.
This is where this 16g Micro Powerset comes into play.
Feeding from a 2S LiPo battery, it provides enough power for your onboard micro RC receiver and servos, and up to 230g of thrust.
The current draw @ full throttle is around 11A.
So, depending on your glider size and available space in the fuselage, we recommend using it with 300-550mAh LiPo batteries.
2S ONLY, since higher cell count may damage the components, and 1S will not provide enough thrust to spin the provided prop.
What 16g Micro Powerset Includes
Motor – T-Motor F1404 3800kv outrunner
Prop – CAM 4.7×2.4 Folding Prop
Spinner – 25mm Spinner for T-Mount motors by Vladimir’s Model
ESC – AM32 ESC w/ 5V 2A BEC
Battery Connector – Amass XT30
Rx connector – JR/Futaba (Dupont 2.54mm) 3-pin
The motor “hides” inside the spinner so can mount on the flat front of the fuselage. A neat solution for small gliders with narrow fuselages, where there is not a lot of space to mount the motors the other way.
Perfectly fits the new version of a Lull eDLG kit, if you prefer to add power to it.
